What is the GASPL?
GASPL stands for the Glen Abbey Slo-Pitch League, a slo-pitch league with men’s and coed divisions for adults. We play games in the Oakville area.

What is the average age of the league members?
Most members are in the range of 19 to 55 years of age.

What are the rules for the league?
The league uses the Slo-Pitch National rules and regulations except for a few exceptions. Exceptions can be found in the League Info section of this website.

Does the league have umpires?
GASPL uses umpires that are carded by Slo-Pitch National. Each of the games has one umpire. 

Does the league use a mat?

How many games do you play in a year?
The amount of games varies slightly from year to year based on the amount of teams in the league. Over the past few years, we have played approximately 20 games in a season and then playoff games.

What night of the week are your games?
Most games are scheduled on Sunday afternoon/evening and Monday evenings. Each team may also have the odd Tuesday night throughout the season for re-scheduled games. We do not schedule games on Sunday's of long weekends.

Where do we play?
Games are played on 3 diamonds in the Oakville area.  Information about these diamonds can be found in the League Info section of this website.

Does the league have any events?
GASPL holds a few events each year for members. For more information regarding any upcoming events please reference Events section of this website.

What are the league fees?
Reviewed by the Executive Committee each year, the fees for the 2017 season are $225 for all members and included all your games and related costs (diamonds, umpires, bases, spikes, equipment bag as needed, game balls).  If you wish to register to play in both the men’s and coed divisions, the 2017 registration fee will be $450.  Refunds are not issued to players if they don't play all of their games or take advantage of the banquet.
